See that post for my rationale of including certain characters as the representative for their respective generation.
-Changed the image for G3 Pinkie Pie to a slightly different stance and changed to a completely different, newer image of Sunny Starscout with a pose better reflecting her design, as well as cleaned up all text and cutie mark vectors.

Wind Whistler was usually Meghan’s pony of choice to ride if I remember correctly.
Megan was definitely the main star of the original series but as a human seemed out of place to include here. Wind Whistler IMO was the closest possible thing to a leader as far as the ponies go, sometimes sharing that role with Galaxy and Magic Star if I recall correctly.
I also decided to include her as the de facto pony lead (as opposed to say, Firefly) for starring in the 1986 movie as well as the TV show that followed, having more total time on-screen than most of the other ponies. Ultimately I would agree though, there really was no clear primary pony character or ‘first among equals’ in the first G1 series compared to the shows that came afterwards.
Maybe Ivy or Light Heart? They got more rereleases than most G2s and were in the video game.
