Heh. When you mentioned the background color, it does kind of make sense how the game came to mind.
To be honest, I made that comparison on a total whim. I took another look at some portraits there and yes, you’re right, they’re definitely more two-dimensional with lighter tones. Oh well.
Hmm, I wouldn’t say that. Fire emblem clearly uses a Japanese cartoon style. The style the posted avatar is in has a lot more form (more 3D), and doesn’t use outlines. My lighting is also a lot more dramatic where the fire emblem game you mentioned doesn’t quite use shadows nearly as dark as mine.
