Okay so apparently my scheduled post didn’t work so have this lol. How did i not realise that this wasn’t posted lmao. Anyway it is :’)
 

 
-As kids Solar and Lovelust were always at eachothers throats. Solar was always the bratty entitled child who always felt the need to be better than Lovelust. It really didn’t matter how he would upstage her, he just needed to prove he was better. Lovelust on the other hand was the explosive one. When Solar would slightly tip her off she would lay into him with some not so kind words. This obviously led to many fights and ribbing between the two.
 
 
-Cadence and shining did their best to try and get their kids to be nice to one another to no avail. When the two weren’t fighting(or trying to start something) they would be as far away from each other as possible.
 
 
-A long while after Candace had Flurry it became apparent that Flurry might not be ready to rule the empire with all that was going on. Flurry was not in the right headspace to be a ruler yet, not to mention flurry didn’t want to rule the empire. So the task began for Cadence to choose which of her other kids could be up to the task.
 
 
-Both Cadence and Shining armour had their eyes on solar. Even though he was a brat and entitled, he knew how to run things and he did it well. He could very much hold his own in a fight and to them he was the right choice. This caused a big fight between Love Lust and Solar as it gave Solar another thing to brag about.
 
 

 
Here is a bit of Solar’s dialogue/what he’s like. I may write a full dialogue for this but I’m not sure yet.
 
 
“Hear that? He said snarky. “Mom thinks I look adorable:” He fluffed out his mane sassly glaring at Lovelust. The colt got to his feet and twirled for a moment, his mane sparkling ever so nicely. Lovelust groaned as she watched her brother spin with grace.

i forgot to mention that they were getting ready for a royal crystal ceremony
 
As the two got older their relationship did slowly begin to heal.(not by very much) They still don’t like one another but will make an effort when they are with their family.
