I can’t believe I was right. :P
Yeh I kinda figured since I simplified my underhoof by removing the u shape and specifically colored them to be similar to pawspads.
I like making them look similar to paws. What can I say. lol XD

It’s probably not just the fetlocks, though they still play a part because the fur covers the “U” rim we usually associate with hooves. It’s the way these hooves bend and how they looks. While you’re not the only artist that draws hooves as “straight” as their “arms”, they look like cats’ and dogs’ paws when they’re straightened. The underside of their hooves have a different color, a skin color no less, making them look more like pawpads than hooves soles. At least that’s how it feels to me. I’m probably the only person here to overanalyze hooves, sorry for long comment. :P

The fetlocks are basically overgrown around their hooves is my general explanation. :P
You can actually search for “Unshorn Fetlocks” on Derpi for hooves of a similar nature. =w=b
I think that would be exclusively related to SymbianL drawings, though. Not that much reason to make a tag for one artist.
