I’m not sure what all of the eyes and everything else with the Ophanim are supposed to signify, but it would seem that they serve some purpose. Perhaps part of that is to see how much you trust to be not afraid in the obvious presence of the Ophanim.
And to put the phrase in another way, “Exist in a state where you are not afraid” is verbose.
