Description
After alot of rainfall the festival become one big mud pool. Everyone walking, squeeling or splashing trough the mud.
Some tried to avoid the mud much as possible and other just jump in. For Rarity and Twilight it was already too late.
Twilight slipped out into the mud and took Rarity by accident with her. Both got very muddy. But instead of getting out they started rolling and wallowing around in the mud like two filthy happy pigs.
Now both girls are covered from top to toe all mud. They alot of joy by the music the fun their friends and alot of mud.

He and I share the same interest. But if I see a lot of pictures of something I dislike, I simply ignore them, or else click the “hide” icon on them so they don’t show up on my next search. Simply filter out “mud edit” and you won’t have to see these again.
Exactly! That goes for you especially, K.Waza! Let people enjoy edits!
No one’s trying to claim it’s their own, only their edit. That’s what the “edited screencap” tag is for. If you dislike edits over actual drawings, then filter out “edited screencap”.

Dude just go with your own style man! The world NEEDS it!
Don’t be shy about trying to draw things yourself.
Hell, use BASES if you have to.
At least Bases are tailor made to be drawn over. Some people think Bases are cringe but if it helps an aspiring artist find their way I think it’s a useful tool. Like training wheels for artists.
Uniqueness is something to be celebrated.
You wanna draw some muddy pony girlies?
Draw some muddy pony girlies!
People think your art sucks and it’s cringe?
SKROO those guys! You tried your best and that’s all that matters.
Improvement will come at your own pace, not anyone else’s.
I think part of it too is making it more show-accurate to look more realistic. Even though I do like the ones that were actually drawn too, but they’re both good in their own way IMO.
I understand. I too am annoyed at the frequency of the mud edits as well.
If he did one or two for parody sake of for the laughs I get it. But this guy is making it a regular thing.
Also I’m an artist who’s had my art stolen and edited against my will. To add insult to injury it was given back to me as a birthday gift with the thief’s logo taking up half the page. I have a personal vendetta against such things.
Usually I’d have a live and let live attitude about this but as for Amateur Draw, I KNOW this guy can actually draw. I believe he’s doing this because he’s lost faith in his ability to draw. In the past he gets a lot of downvotes for his works and I would imagine that would get to the guy.
I admired the fact that he would still keep trying regardless of what the peanut gallery had to say because at this point, he has no control over the quality of his work. The fact that he tries and creates things from his heart is something I admire and respect about him.
I believe these mud edits is just a way for him to hide and run from his abilities when he should keep trying.
Such mud edits only serve to hinder his growth as an artist and a person.
But at the end of the day, the decision is his to make and if he chooses to continue making edits, I’ll lose that respect and admiration I once had for him.
Look, I can’t speak for Amateur or The Dark Pony here. But I also make these exact same kind of mud edits, and never once have I tried to say “look at this great piece of art that I made!” I recognize that half of the contents of the image are from the show, so I don’t try to “pass it off as my own,” because it’s evidently not my own. We were never trying to do that.
These are not serious pieces of work, and were never meant to be. We don’t make them for artistic accomplishment, or pride, or expanding our talents. We know damn well it’s “not actually art.” These images are pretty much the result of us just screwing the fuck around. That’s it. In fact, we only upload them (or at least I do) because there’s a small handful of people on this site that want to see them.
The only issue I can see here is how many of these things are uploaded at one time (Amateur went overboard, admittedly.) But other than that, are they really that big of a deal to you?
Mud edits are much like breaking into someone’s house, stealing their furniture, covering it with glue and glitter, and then giving back the stolen furniture saying “LOOK WHAT I MADE!”
You didn’t CREATE anything, what you’ve submitted couldn’t exist without someone else doing ALL THE WORK FOR YOU and you people can feel proud of that!?
Well, different strokes for different folks I guess.
Background Pony #3EB8, thank you for defending Amateur-draw.
Anti-edit comments. That’s what.
Or maybe he’s discriminating against people that make edits.
Honestly, if this guy was complaining about my edits, I would leave, too.

Edits?
I can understand if someone’s doing them for the MEMES but at this point these edits are pretty annoying.
The emotion conveyed by the characters in the PRE-DRAWN artwork doesn’t match the situation of the image.
This robs the image of its meaning, cheapening the impact of the image.
At least when the image is drawn by themselves, the artist has as much freedom as they want to convey any emotion or impact as they want regardless of skill level. By doing these edits, the artist will severely limit themselves and their ability to even create.
I know for a fact that this artist CAN DRAW.
It honestly breaks my heart a bit to see this artist with even a modicum of potential hide behind crutch that serves to cripple him even more.
Let people make edits! If you don’t like them, just ignore them! Many artists get their start with manipulations! Just because you don’t like them doesn’t mean you should complain about those that do!
STOP COMPLAINING! Don’t like it, don’t view it! Simple as that!
As an experienced artist, there did indeed come a time in which drawing stopped being fun in pursuit to increase my skill. But I still loved art and desired to make the images, characters and things inside me appear just as vivid and wonderful as it felt in my soul. I wanted to share that with others, and to do so effectively I endeavored to get better.
With that desire to improve, I also had to accept the curse that comes attached with it; constant dissatisfaction with my own creations and the harsh realization that what I can do with my hands will almost never be as good as I think it in my own head.
Fortunately for me, I’ve had countless supportive people who liked my works even though they were simple and imperfect, riddled with mistakes and bad anatomy. There would always be someone, anyone who saw through the faults and imperfections of my creations and praised it for the joy it was able to give them.
Little crumbs of appreciation like this is what helped me push through my self doubt to keep creating and not give up. With that I’ve learned to love what I create and have FUN with it.
There will come a time in which it stops being fun for a while, but once you’ve passed that, you’ll mature into something better than from where you started.
I know DAMN well that amateur-draw has things within their soul that they wish to share with everyone.
Coloring over pre-drawn images created by those who have long passed the trials I’ve mentioned is no way for an artist to create.
Again I encourage this artist to get inspired, find what makes them glow inside, and share the shape and color of that light from within to everyone.

guess you also cant read as they are saying “hey you can do better then this do better”
