Honestly it’s less that it’s teasing and more like Spitfire and Fleetfoot have been like this for a very long time to the point Spitfire even admits she loves to yell. I personally still like the Wonderbolts but they are far from infallible and honestly I do wish Rainbow spoke up and said “This name was a nickname my school bullies gave me, give me a different nickname!” And it’s far less embarrassing than “Rainbow Trash”.

An embarrassing nickname is like the tamest “hazing” there is. Real-world hazing too often involves physical harm, beating, or injuries. That should not be allowed. But a bit of teasing and banter can help build teamwork.

I personally don’t think that the Wonderbolts were bullying dash because most military groups have a hazing thing that they give a nickname to each members based on their mistakes on their first day.
