Even though I’ve seen countless AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL human redesigns of the mane six , Kianamai’s recent mlp picture (CUTE DRAWING BTW) got me inspired for me to finally have a go at it.
 
For starters, I did want to draw them with some of their former aspects (like unicorn horns, or pegasus), but honestly I was lazy (and forgot to incorporate it into the sketch layer…soo uh…oops). Anyways, I did just want them to just look like people you would see in the real world (minus the technicolor hair and forehead markings). However, in the future, I might incorporate more magical aspects to their designs. all in all, I just wanted to have fun with their designs, and I did, so here you go. 👌
 
I based Twilight’s design off of eurasians. Her body shape is an inverted triangle, (a big chest, but not much junk in the truck).I like the thought of her dressing like some school teacher or student to make herself look smarter. She would prefer such a minimalistic choice in design in clothes anyways because she doesn’t have time to be spending hours on what looks good together or not (unlike Rarity 👀). She likes clothes that she can easily slide into. So uniform style is the way to go for her casually. (You might catch her wearing the same outfit that she wore the other day).  
I mentioned before in one of my previous posts that in human (or anthro) form that she would be 6’0. However, she wasn’t always this tall, she was an average height little girl, at like 5’5ft (or under). But the alicorn magic started kicking in… (idk why this magic didn’t effect Luna or Cadence lol 😃🤣). Who knows, what if Twi was naturally meant to be that tall (I mean, at least it’s convenient for her to reach books on the top shelf)!
 
I based Rarity’s design off of a Nigerian descent. She has a THICK hourglass shape (#100% REAL). And as we know, she’s a French speaker and is fluent at it (and will cuss in the language very frequently). Now, unlike Twilight, she does spend hours prettying herself up (though she’s naturally gorgeous), and wearing casually chic clothing. (She got them gel claws lol 💅). However, when she wakes up… she’s a beautiful mess.😌 (Bonnet half on…some makeup still smeared on her face, reading glasses barely staying on).  
She’s 5’4ft, an average height woman. 👌
 
RD is based off of Southeastern Asians (more specifically, Indonesian). She has a rectangle-like sporty body shape. A strong tiny woman she is ÙwÚ. Most times, people do mistake her as a man because of how she dresses… and honestly, she’s not ashamed of that. She likes it when others question her gender and plays with the idea that she is a man who birthed six kids. She claims that magic brought them into existence. So yeah, she doesn’t really care what people call her, unless it’s appropriate. She’s never really liked the girly apparel and found interest in manly attire (it’s just more comfortable for her). However, pink is still her favorite color.  
She’s 4’11ft, a smol feisty bean.
 
Fluttershy’s design is based on that Mediterranean look… mainly Greek with her olive skin. She has a long pear shape. She usually wears outdoorsy and thin clothes, like the short dress she’s in. Like Twilight, she doesn’t have a big and diverse wardrobe, just flimsy sundresses and sandals. She wouldn’t want to wear much anyway because she loves feeling the outdoors on her skin (and unknowingly getting scratched up in the process. Also from her animals accidentally scratching her too). Her hair would constantly be full of sticks, leaves, grass, flowers and bugs. (I feel like she would secretly be outside butt naked😃… and also probably doing some psychedelic hippie stuff with Treehugger in the back).  
Her and Twi are the same dang height y’all (6’0ft). And this is without the help of alicorn magic or growth. (I forgot to mention that they both would be clumsy as he//. Blame the long stick legs).
 
Applejack is based off of a Western European look (Irish) but was raised in the dear ole south 🤠. She has a fine muscular thick body (another hourglass shape). She does have the strength to power kick medium sized dead trees, or to rattle healthy trees full of loose apples. Every muscle on her are thunder, not just her thighs. Like Fluttershy, she would be dirtied up and full of scratches (but AJ’S condition is much worse. Animals purposely scratches her because they’re vicious). Her wardrobe would be all worn out and completely mud stained (except for Granny Smith’s scarf. She’ll try her hardest to keep that well preserved). She has so many plaid shirts, its ridiculous smh…  
She’s 5’8ft, which is tall, but not like the other two (Twilight and Fluttershy 👀). She’s just a muscular woman.
 
Pinkie is multiracial (African, European and Asian), with African being her strongest gene. She too has a pear shaped body, but just stubby. She mainly likes to wear cutesy and colorful clothes. Even when she gets older, her outfits will still look the same (teenage-like). She would look like a big sister to her own kids. Pinkie would be the one to age slowly in looks, her skin is that good! Idk, she’s just so cute! ÓwÒ Her hair would be so soft and fluffy. She too would have stuff tangled in her hair like, candy and toys, but she would purposely put that stuff in there.  
She’s a 5’1ft wonder, and just packed with so much energy in that tiny body of hers.
 
 
I may or may not carry this out with the other characters. Hopefully I do so I don’t wanna leave y’all hanging with just the mane six.
