Prince Frostie is the youngest child of Queen Cadenza and Shining Armour.  
He was born mute and if he’s not in a bad mood, will communicate via sign language.  
Frostie was made for the snow and often disappears for long camping trips any time of year but especially during the dead of winter. He lives part-time in Yakyakistan with his BFF Chauff [daughter of King Rutherford] but returns to the Crystal Empire if he’s summoned or Phoenix begs him to come home so she can try to set him up with someone. It’s never worked. He tolerates her antics because he absolutely adores her. He has a huge soft spot for that idiot.  
He loves all of his cousins. He’s a bit aggressive with Flurry Heart but the two do love each other. He mostly just wants to fight her. They send each other very abusive letters and Frostie is the only person in the world that can properly piss Flurry off. He knows her too well and just a look from Frostie will set Flurry off.
 
Frostie is a moody but shy boy whose true joy is anything to do with the outdoors. He cannot sit still for long as the outdoors and adventure have a hold on him. Luckily for him, Flurry is the heir to the throne which allows him to live his life. And of course, he teases her about that.
 
Sadly Frostie’s cold demeanor comes from his relationship with his father. Shining wanted a child who was interested in contact sports and competitive games. Since Flurry was busy learning how to run an empire, Frostie was the one who got all of Shining’s attention. It stressed Frostie out as a kid as he was constantly looking for Shining’s approval and trying to be the best of the best. It worked and Frostie was wildly successful in most sports but now he tries to avoid his father and do the things he enjoys without everything turning into a competition. Shining was overbearing and got a little too invested in everything. While Frostie loved being with his dad, he really didn’t appreciate the constant scrutiny.  
Shining Armour has a lot of guilt around his actions in Frostie’s teens. He and Frostie had a good relationship once upon a time when the two would snuggle up and read comic books together but Shining sort of spoiled all the good times. Papa Shining has been trying to mend the relationship and some progress is being made!
 
Overall, Frost is a sassy boy who isn’t a fan of large groups. However, if you get to know him, he can be very sweet and affectionate.
