When Applescorch catches wind that the legendary Marshall Bravestarr is in ponyville on official business she wants nothing more than to take a peek at her idol and hero maybe even get his autograph.  
this leaves applejack a bit miffed due to the fact how her own daughter’s reaction. for once her little girl used to admire applejack in the same way when she was but a small filly. why, applescorch used to roleplay as her own mother once along time ago and used to talk how she’s the daughter of one of the best known equestrian heroes. this causes AJ to try to rekindle that lightening just so she can be looked the way her girl looks at bravestarr.
 
meanwhile, between apple loosa and the mysterious south lies Macintosh hills where a group of miners discover the new found power source crystals called Kerium but just as they were about to celebrate the infamous TexHex and his band of outlaws soon came to take their earnings. leaving no witnesses behind. When bravestarr finds out he is hot on TexHex’s trail. but unbeknownst to him a stowaway (applescorch) rides along to see him in action. putting a danger to his mission and herself. when Applejack finds out she sets out to get her daughter back before the shit hits the fan.
