Wow! No your fine thank you for being so critical actually that’s awesome, do that more! It’s good to be impassioned about this kinda stuff and I have to say I wasn’t amazed by my own work either. Maybe I could even touch this up a bit who knows. I should have walked away from it for a bit I think before continuing. I also did the lights then added shadow, should have started dark then brought out the shadows, it looks way less believable as a result. And I also didn’t bother doing a rough sketch I just laid on colors. Again thank you for being critical but sensible that means a lot; learning is everything.

I’ve been using the original as my desktop wallpaper for years. You know, beautiful pic with just a hint of smut thanks to that massive booty. This one… doesn’t make me feel the same way, definitely not. Different expression (kinda playful instead of sharp but interested of the original), weirder proportions, and the lava lamp mane doesn’t do it for me in comparison with the etherela feel of the original. I’d say the only thing I feel is better here are the wings, which in the original looked kinda… lumpy.  
All in all, sorry to be so critical but I love the original and this one isn’t even close.
