I actually hope that, finding no book available, Twilight decides to write the book as she learns. Letting that take over the “writing to Princess Celestia about friendship” thing would allow the writers to show little girls that no, you probably don’t want to be a princess, thereby subverting the whole “pandering to little girls’ ultimate dreams of being a princess” thing that everyone’s been talking about.

Reading this book is probably unexpected, unwanted insight into the way Celestia has been manipulating and moulding Twilight for the last several years. It’s like talking about child-rearing philosophy with your own parents.
