A new character to be added to EternalVerse! CheeriJack is one of my most favorite ships for our favorite country gal (I fully blame :iconvio-creayta: and their adorable Cheerijack drawings), so I’m surprised I didn’t make a foal for them sooner. I was sitting on this gal’s design for some time, I have about 4 different color palettes, but I finally decided to stick with this soft green one, which she gets from Granny Smith, definitely let me know if the design is good! She is my pretty little gal, but I still want to make sure you guys like her as much as I do!

Now, since we got that out of the way, let’s jump into the bio, shall we?

Full Name: Peppermint

Nickname(s): Pepper (common), sugarcube (Applejack), Minty (friends and family)

Identity: Lesbian cis mare

Special Talent: Making tea (also a side, smaller talent is gardening).

Occupation: Student at the Ponyville’s School of Friendship and Diplomacy, helping hoof at the Apple Family’s Farm and a waitress at Sugarcube Corner.

Family: Applejack (ma), Cheerilee (mama), Pink Pearl Apple (younger sister), Comfrey’s Bell (younger brother)

Personality: Peppermint, the firstborn of Applejack and Cheerilee, could be described as a gentle giant, much like her uncle Big Macintosh. She is kind, gentle, ready to help anyone (even if they don’t ask for it, which can be seen as annoying by few) and a bit slow. She isn’t dumb, not in any sense, it’s just a bit harder for her to understand things right away, resulting in her having to stress over catching up. It’s one of the few reasons why Pepper was homeschooled by her moms. She has a hard time making quick decisions, even simple things as “should I buy this tea or this tea?” could take her up to 30 minutes, if she didn’t decide beforehand. She is actually very talkative! She has a lot of energy to give out, so her talks often become rambling, yet exciting, messes of words. She has a very calming presence and knows exactly what to do to make others feel better, calming herself down is a whole another thing, though. While she is amazing at helping other people and understanding how they are feeling, doing that for herself is ten times harder. She is a hard worker and loves helping really anyone, even with things she has never done before, as helping others and making them happy gives her boosts of happiness and energy. She can overdo it sometimes, as I said, and try and help when it’s not wanted, resulting in her looking condescending rather than helpful. She also has a hard time following jokes and awkwardly laughs along just to make the other creature happy, until the meaning of the joke hits her later. Her moms found her laughing at the jokes they have told her a few minutes back many, many times.

Other facts!
-She adores planting flowers around the Apple Farm in her free time, to make the farm look more charming. Her mama Cheerilee and uncle Mac like to help around sometimes, as it’s both very relaxing and endearing, to hear their little Minty ramble about each flower and what they mean.

-She was one of the first of the mane 6’s kids to gain her cutie mark! When she was about 8, her ma got sic. It wasn’t anything bad, the apple trees just needed to get harvested and AJ, despite the warning of her family and wife, went to do just that even in the harsh rain, which resulted in her getting sick for the next few days. As Cheerilee needed to go to work, the task of taking care of the orange mare was given to Granny Smith and little Peppermint. And, of course, tea was needed!

-Peppermint was always super close to Granny Smith and loved hearing about the stories she had to tell. The two could sit on the couch for hours, browsing the photo albums, telling stories, Pepper rambling about what she has done that day, drinking hot tea or chocolate. The death of Granny Smith hit her extremely hard but, when her siblings were born, she was ready to tell every single story Granny has ever told her to them. It soon became a family thing they did on the weekends. Each Saturday night, the whole Apple family would huddle around the fireplace, listening to the stories Peppermint remembered, and, boy, was it a lot of them. The green mare made sure to write down every single story while Granny was telling them, too afraid of forgetting them.

-She dreams of opening up a tea shop one day. She even has some designs of the place, drawn by Lil’ Cheese. Peppermint sometimes babysits the small filly and they always talk about the tea shop, both of them throwing ideas at each other, while Lil’ Cheese draws. Double Dare sometimes joins in as well, although her ideas are always something alongside “Too bright, you guys really need to add some black into it- OH! How about some bug drawings on the walls? What…? Why are you looking at me like that, how many bugs do you think were on those leaves you made into your teas, Pepper? It makes sense!”. The three always have a lot of fun and, even if Double would never admit it, it’s clear she sees Pepper as a second sister, just like the green mare sees the Pie siblings as her own siblings too.

-She is a great singer and while she went to school, before she was officially homeschooled, she participated in one musical as well! She absolutely adored it and hopes of playing in another one sometime in the future again.
