that’s also my problem with the three now. bringing tirek back in as an example, he worked a lot better solo and his relationship with scorpan had untapped potential. but come season 9, and is written as “lol big brute man loves his gran gran XD”
people can like whatever, but i don’t really understand the appeal of the three as a team. they were all great on their own, but they’re harder to take seriously as a group. like they became cartoonishy villainous.
The end of this episode showes me that all equestrians are weird and kinda sorta strange
I see no difference.

they were much better as singular villains; Tirek in particular got hit especially hard as a villain by working with the others.
