Description
Since Cozy debuted and her revelation as a villain, I always wondered if she was an adult in a kid’s body this entire time, similar to Baby Doll, the villain from Batman: The Animated Series that’s she’s based on. It will explain her behavior throughout the series and why she is so cunning and evil! But other than that, it’s a theory that I had for a while. She could be a very smart villainous child as presented in the show. But I always think there is more to Cozy than meets the eye. ;)

And, unfortunately, neither the writers nor the bronies seemed to care.
That was never implied. In fact, nothing about her past was ever mentioned or implied.
Still, show, don’t tell.
Well colorful talking ponies have never been the most realistic
Which is not realistic in the least.
With cozy its just implied she was born evil
But instead, she was cursed with a fate that ensured she would never truly get that sense of normality she had in her show, where even though it was make-believe, she was still treated like an ordinary person and not someone trapped in a child’s body. Driven by anger, resentment, and frustration to become a villain, all she really wanted was return to the happiness of the make-believe world she had to herself: the one place where she wasn’t…different. Like so many of their other villains, Mary was a victim of circumstance trying to make some sense of the cruel world they live in, only to follow the dark path of hatred, and revenge.
Now if Cozy Glow had something similar going for her, it might have made her more interesting and given her a clearer goal besides the whole “I want to rule the world” spiel: that if the world would never treat her as a normal pony because of the fact she could have been a mare in a filly’s body, then she would take away what the rest of the world recognized as the normal aspect that keeps their world going - magic, itself.
Felt like it was debunked very quickly but it kept going
I imagine some fans would’ve probably disliked that, much like the series finale’s controversial twist. (Though, let’s not debate that, anyone reading this.)

I wish i didn’t
I remember some fans even jokingly stated Cozy was going to be the season villain. They unknowingly predicted the future.
Granted, in hindsight her “sweet” act was a li’l intentionally overplayed before the finale.
@Background Pony #BD2D
Yeah, she’s probably in her 40s. :P

Clearily she faked it.
