“I said, ‘Rare, I don’t know if this is going to be possible to sing.’ And she went, ‘I’ll fucking do it, darling’—vodka down—and went in and killed it, completely lacerated that vocal.”

and every song that Brian May or Roger Taylor sings.

Says the person who hates one of the greatest queen songs ever ; I’m In Love With My Car. Also they’re all good hits and no, they don’t “distract us”, it’s how singles work. OK?

The only really good hit you listed was Bohemian Rhapsody and even that is overrated because it (along with most of their hits) keeps us distracted from Liar, Ogre Battle, The March of the Black Queen, Stone Cold Crazy, The Prophet’s Song, Sheer Heart Attack, Dead On Time (the only good song from Jazz), and every song that Brian May or Roger Taylor sings.

I think you’re forgetting that Freddie Mercury wrote some of the bands biggest hits (Bohemian Rhapsody, Killer Queen, Don’t Stop Me Now, We Are The Champions, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, etc)… I do wish, however, that instead of the terrible Queen+ that they just became a power trio. Or just stopped at “No-one But You (Only The Good Die Young) Which I feel was a fitting end to their legacy, and focus on solo projects.

You know if Freddie Mercury (or should I say Farrokh Bulsara) was never existed Queen still would have been a power trio with Brian May and Roger Taylor singing most of the songs. Completely different but just as great.
