Description

It’s been a while! Sorry bout disappearing for so long, I was away for my birthday and now I’m back on (online) campus. Hope you’ve all been doing well! And apologies for taking forever with responses as usual :’)

anywayyyyy as you can probably tell I’ve been watching a lot of ATLA and TLoK. Now that Korra’s out on Netflix I started rewatching (even tho i legit just finished the show a month ago. i can’t get enough). I’m halfway through season 4 already. Once I finish it’s straight to the comics, ATLA, TLoK, and repeat. Why not incorporate some ideas into the mlp world just cuz

Cassie has her own “Avatar State,” like her mom Twilight. There’s not really a name for it, but Twilight likes to call it “Harmonic Peak.” It’s a unique power thought only to be carried by True Alicorns, like Celestia, but Twilight was the first non-alicorn to possess the power. It passes down to her daughter Cassie, but they don’t really know about it until she’s in her late teens.

When she’s in her avatar state her eyes glow a blinding white light, and the rings on her horns light up with magic. Her cutie mark also glows. The first time she ever uses the ability is during her incident with Flurry Heart. For years after, she’s only able to go into this state when feeling an extreme emotion, usually a negative one like anger or fear. It’s like a defense mechanism. During her years as a known criminal she eventually seeks to better herself by mastering this powerful craft. And if she’s able to, she’ll be the first ever alicorn to use the ability at will.

Panther, son of Sombra and Luna, has his own avatar state too. He hasn’t been in a position where he’s needed it, so he still doesn’t know about it. Flurry never had one.
