Wow, Who knew that Spike had so many derpybooru accounts.  
Spike gets dumber as the series progresses. They put too much in Baby and not enough in Dragon. And what they do is pretty stupid. Spike at your service especially. It would have been Okay if he wasn’t suddenly incompetent at everything, when he usually keeps the household running around Twilight and normally is the sane man. Unless he was simply bored and it was all one big Joke instead of a flanderization of Spike’s tendencies to get into strange stuff.

I wouldn’t say more episodes than the mane 6 but he definitely needs more episodes than the CMC.

That would be pretty brutal, actually. Continuity nods and maybe foreshadowing would tie the two (three?).

Totally agree. Dragon Quest shed light into him, but there still is plenty to do with his character.

They should’ve tooled with Dragon Quest more. Western depictions of dragons always had the same theme of greedy jerks.  
It should’ve been him meeting his bio parents or more mature dragons that he could learn his history from. Maybe a two-parter when he realizes how great his dragon culture is and doesn’t want to go back to Ponyville at first.
