The finale comes out next month for this arc, so currently she’s actually gone from bad to worse. This form was an out of control state mostly controlled by a terrified and frantic Twilight. Shortly after, Zephyrus engineered events so he could take near full control of her body.
I’m behind on this fic, so this may have already been resolved. But while I wouldn’t be surprised by her getting jailtime, I highly doubt she would be denied a path to redemption.
