I never got why that is funny. When we are first shown pickle Rick, we have no context so it’s a “lol I’m so random” thing. And the meme cannot provide that context either, so we miss out on the joke that this was just to avoid family councelling, or that pickle Rick goes to extreme lengths to craft an exo-skeleton out of twigs, dead roaches and rats just to restore himself when he finds himself… in a pickle.
