So’s art about socialism and we did an entire Derpibooru April Fools makeover about it. Freedom of expression remains a thing though and if Nazi depictions in fiction really bother you, you’re free to use the filter function to block it from your view.

Hmm. Throwing those in can be a double-edged sword for TV shows. While modern tech is something we are all used to these days, cultural references can make your show look dated. What’s cool now may be considered a punchline a few years from now.
Also, Teen Titans Go is a black comedy and would most likely use cultural references as a punchline and possibly acknowledge if they’re gonna be dated or not.
I think the real issue is that certain people can’t tolerate people enjoying things they despise. The same attitude that many people feel about bronies being entertained by (and yes, often attempting to mount) talking ponies.

Oh no I’m just going by what the actual writers said about the show they wrote on Twitter. They literally told the viewing public that it’s one of those shows that actively throws in current year cultural references and current tech for the sake of appealing to modern-day children.
In short, the writers on social media admit that they purposefully wrote, in the same fashion as Teen Titans Go, “How do you do fellow kids” the TV show.
You don’t like Pony Life?
Well unless you’re the writers of Pony Life and actively trying to date the hell out of the show.
Co-opting? Ponies are, and will always be, for everyone. No matter your life persuasion
