If you don’t care for her, that’s fine. This isn’t about whether I like her over the others. This is about the integrity of the characters and the brand itself. Not about how she’s been misinterpreted for years by people, it’s deeper than that. But anyways, if you don’t fully understand I don’t blame you. It’s a lot of heavy stuff you need to have read over the past six or so years to get a grasp of what I’m saying.
 
And trust me, I know it sounds insane to suggest what I am. But the evidence is written on the wall if you look hard enough. But I appreciate your take on it.

That just… crazy talk. I forgot about AJ after S2. Starlight and Sunset were on my radar far more than her. So, it wasn’t a wrong decision.
 
Pony Life has a simplistic style, yes. It’s a little mini series, for God’s sakes. I don’t care what you think of the PPG reboot or how this is in connection to that but it’s a cute cat and that’s all that matters.
 
No really, out of all the interesting creatures and characters in MLP, you care about the farm pony? I don’t hate or dislike her in any way, she’s just… there.

Hasbro owns the rights to everything MLP related. They influence things from behind the scenes, just like any corporate overlord would. They’ve made a intentional movement to have AJ be less viable to fans and the general public by cutting her merch and omitting her in promotional material. This has been going on for years, there are forums dedicated to talking about it. It was also leaked that they are displeased that she is more popular than Starlight and Sunset, wanting them to overshadow her by any means. I’ve already mentioned all this previously. As for the reference, it’s just bad. Because pony life is in this simplistic and lazy style, it reminds me heavily on the PPG reboot and how terribly animated that mess was. So having a cat named Bubbles here feels like they are hunting at that show. It’s in poor taste as that reboot bombed hard.

Yes, I know. It is the toy company that owns the licience of My Little Pony. I don’t know what they have to do with the writing of the show or this refrence.

Because it’ll be like trying to inject another self congratulatory reference for Hasbro to feel giddy about when it’s not needed. And it’ll remind people of that terrible reboot of PPG.
