It’s like the high horse in the pool. I would imagine a kid would feel dominant being on top of one of those things.  
It was only in the last two years that people started to take notice of pool toys which were often overlooked fixtures in a pool or beach scene. It’s the one type of traditional toys that even adults could have fun on without guilt.  
I hope there’s more creative designs in the future.

You don’t see many artists who put as much work into props and backgrounds as their cute girls. That inflatable whale is probably one of the best drawings of an inflatable whale toy I’ve ever seen.

I wish more artists would realized the potential for pool toys.
