I kinda hope Jaleel White gets to cameo in the sequel.
the reason why I think it was probably just a coincidence was because they may have been talking about the robotnik in the scene but Gary didn’t actually say anything about him.
And like I said small role open go to local talent he’s a good actor but he’s not hard to get and Hollywood often films in Vancouver
Gary Chalk also voiced the “Sonic Underground” version of Dr. Robotnik, so it’d be a hell of a coincidence.
Sadly, the Blue Ray/VUDU commentary doesn’t even regard Gary Chalk at all. So I am curious how he got in the movie, if he coincidentally additioned, and they were like, “Oh, he’s been in Sonic before twice! We gatta hire him!”
He also did other voices in AOSTH, like Captain Rescue, one of the aliens, Dragon Breath, (remember him from “Mean Bean Machine?”) and others.
But they are connected as Grounder was played by Gary Chalk who was in the Pentagon scene in the movie.
Although it could have just been a coincidence as small role like that often go to local talent
Rainbow Dash : “Oh, a chili dog in a large bear trap… Definitely, not some kinda trap!”
@Dr_Osaka
I hope we get just as many memes from it like AOSTH.
I remember the Sonic fanbase online used to constantly hate on that show, but Youtube Poop vindicated it, and nowadays many unironically enjoy AOSTH’s cartoonier & abstract style.
Also, the wackier modern Mickey Disney shorts have been well received, so maybe P.L. might be enjoyable.
@Inkan1969
Wrong canon.

“Haha-ha-haaa! Dash won’t be able to resist this trap even if she tries!”
“Yuh, un’ we sut it up ull ba’ ursulves!””

Now that you mention it does actually look like AoStH, maybe the show won’t be so bad if they emulate that style.
Where’s Jim Carrey?
