Plushie Sunburst looks way too happy with this development.

And now it’s time to present crazy speculations. Sunburst is actually happy with this arrangement, as he worries that if he were to ever get with Starlight he’d fall short of properly satisfying her, so the fact Trixie is there takes the burden and expectations off of him. It also provides an excuse for when Stellar Flare asks why she doesn’t have any grandfoals yet.
