The British are a rarity in Europe for ot consuming horse meat. I guess island communities tend to be a bit backwards.

I never go to fast food restaurants. It’s basically dirt with flavor.
 
Eat proper food. Not only is it made out of actual food, it tastes so much better.

Either you’ve misunderstood the recent news stories or the sourced you’ve read got it wrong. Horse mat is very rarely consumed (intentionally) in the UK. There have been numerous product recalls after it was discovered they had horse meat in them, and one of the meat processors in Ireland, the source of the tainted meat, has shut down. When the story first broke the news focused less on how it broke food labelling regulations (the real issue) and more on how squicked out the British public were.

Horse meat, cow meat, what’s the difference? And at least it’s legitimate meat and not whatever it is they put into Taco Bell.

I’ve eaten a lot of different meats: bear, squirrel, venison, etc. I will not touch horse meat.

Horses were originally raised for meat. Only years later did they realize they were good for riding.
