after pinkie and rainbow broke up the friend group split. applejack and rarity stayed on rainbows side, and twilight stayed on pinkies. fluttershy fled both groups entirely because she didnt wanna choose. during pinkie and rainbows relationship, pinkie started dressing differently to seem more innocent, as shown in this. after the friend group split, twilights role as princess was revoked by celestia because she failed to keep the friend group together, so she lost her wings.
