Fluttershy is a weak flier, but too weak to reach Cloudsdale? That’s a bit much.
She does it in “Sonic Rainboom” just fine.
DarkJesterPlotHoleAh, it seems Billy makes a passing reference to the “old times” in one of the early comics. I already completely forgot.
Guess it IS canon-consistent, then.
The flashback in Hurricane Fluttershy shows them with cutie marks, so in canon she returned to Cloudsdale. It messed with my headcanon, too.
It cannot be canon, for Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash both already have their cutie marks, and Fluttershy didn’t get hers until she was grounded.
On that note, does Dash Academy take place in the “canon” universe? Insofar as, do the jock/bully ponies and the story from Cutie Mark Chronicles happen in this one?
And damn you Sorcerus for being so genial as to follow up with a sympathetic-Dash strip right after that last one in a way that makes perfect sense. Well done!
