I don`t know what I was draw,it just finished
I have read many fiction that Chrysalis changed herself because of the “strange” friendship of Tirek and Cozy Glow ,so I do some change of my old Reform-Chrysalis design.
In another time line, during the battle of the end,the three villains stealed the bell but the Grogar(yes, the real one) had been monitoring their actions all the time,Even after he exposed their deception, they still remained obstinate. Enraged, Grogar used his great powers to snatch the bells and drain their magic, claiming that he alone could conquer Equestria.
After that, faced with the overwhelming Grogar, the three villains reluctantly share their power to fight this powerful demon along with the other creatures. But in this collaboration, and in the memories that preceded it, they felt a bond and began to feel a kinship. After Grogar has been defeated, they ran together across the land, through all sorts of hardships. In a crisis, Chrysalis acknowledged her friendship with them in her heart and ushered in a transformation.
After that, with the help of Starlight, Chrysalis tried to return to the Changeling Kingdom, not as ruler or Queen, but as a student and mother. Although the changelings had mixed opinions about her, But she still has plenty of time and opportunity. She had a lot to learn and understand from having friends around.

Same.
@doloresbridge
and in many situations, Twilight is improperly trained because Celestia didn’t bother to inform her about how the country itself is ran. I cite the Royal Swaning when the Royal Sisters go off on a brief vacation, Twilight tried to do everything on her own without trying to delegate tasks and roles to the other members of government because she thought that Celestia was responsible for doing everything, but on a more serious note on how trying to burden a Destiny on the shoulders of another, than let me share a few “Chosen Ones” that have been in Media that wound up ultimately turning against the prophecies’ authors in the first place. Many of them had decided to lash out at the unforgiving world that their supposed “Destiny” had inflicted them with and set about their own path, and despite this; they are considered some of the strongest written characters for their decisions to stand up for their own convictions.
Eclipsa Butterfly
Illidan Stormrage
Anakin Skywalker
Raven Branwen
Historia Reiss
Sunset Shimmer
Luna retiring despite she didn’t get to rule for much long is really bad.
And the writers seem to be brushing it aside.
Just because its a kids show doesn’t make it ok for this iffy logic there honestly.
The “strategy” they had there is essentially give up and let the “chosen one” handle this.
They basically let themselves be in Tirek’s mercy there. It was a terrible strategy.
They might as well do nothing or miserably lose if that is all Celestia can think of.
@nightshroud96
I don’t care much if the princesses are strong or not, at least she had a strategy in that episode as opposed to complete uselessness or immobilization. As for what you say here: @nightshroud96 yeah, it’s stupid. Though I think it should be judged for the level of logic as a kids show that it is. So, it is stupid, but maybe not unacceptably so. Unlike, say, the princess logic retiring at the beginning of the season 9.
And the fact Celestia didn’t realize Tirek would find out about Twilight much sooner than she thought.
There’s literally a freaking stain glass window of alicorn Twilight there.
And Discrd would just spill the beans about Twilight. And the fact Tirek would most likely hear about there being a new alicorn due to he was already on the loose in season 2.
I guess there were so many plot holes be covered if the sisters engaged in combat ACTUAL combat
but I see what you mean.
Due to the whole “lets dump our magic onto the chosen one er I mean Twilight” plan Celestia came up with.
I hated how Luna agreed to such a iffy plan there..
Season 4 felt like things really started to go downhill for the sisters. At least like the whole “the sisters are sidelined/taken out/not there when a villain attacks” got really old really fast.
6 and 9 i understand but 4? why?
The finales of season 4, 6 and 9 were probably the finales that bothered me the most.
liked 1,2,3,7
the 4,6 where 50-50 for me
8,9 where total disaster
What other finales do you dislike or like?
I see.
I am in between honestly I neither disliked it or liked it
its just… there
I sure resented the season 6 finale due to apparently whatever changeling stuff that should have been Spike’s was given to Starlight.
Such as the episode with Thorax’s brother there.
Yeah good point.
Given how him befriending Thorax is what led to the hive reforming.
Him being more involved with the hive stuff would have been good to see.
I just noticed that now
Interesting
your story seems interesting. (long to translate)
but it moves a little too far away from the MLP series for me. (its more like “game of throne”)
Changelings are not entirely like ants just the same way that we Humans are not entirely like monkeys, and who is to entirely say that there are not other Changeling Hives besides the one that Chrysalis led? And if you recall what I just wrote:
This opens the doors towards the possibility that her Proto-Queen Sisters were indeed far worse, many of them having strict regimens and beliefs ingrained into them by the previous Queen to maintain her authority and dominion over their Hive, often demanding for entire clutches of their eggs to be exhumed as a rite of passage. It goes without saying that what is considered “Nice” by Changeling Culture is not the same as that of Pony Culture.
Suffice to say, Proto-Queen Chrysalis’ Minder Caste operated their beliefs around the treatment of their prey as cattle to be milked and satiated themselves off of the emotion of Love. Chrysalis’ sisters on the other hoof were more aggressive in form, often treating their prey less-than-savory as was the case with Proto-Queen Mirage and the members of her Infiltrator Caste centering their beliefs on the feasting of their preys blood and Fear intermixed; they would often infiltrate villages and slowly spread distrust and fear to the point where the villagers would proceed to tear themselves apart from their own mounting paranoia before the Infiltrators would swoop in after feasting upon their preys Fear of one-another.
Essentially, Proto-Queen Chrysalis was a Farmer among a swarm of Locusts and Mosquitoes when it came to the Hive.
As for why Mirage is seen as favorably by the Changelings is because it was the work of Pharynx, one of the very last of the Infiltrator Caste following the violent civil war in the Hive that saw the ascendancy of Chrysalis as the new Queen. So many of the other Castes had lost their numbers that only the very youngest were left alive and they weren’t old enough to process what even happened to the Hive. Chrysalis was fearful that there might be a few of her Sisters’ Caste Loyalists might have been hiding their respective Proto-Queens among their ranks as regular Drones, and that no matter what Ocellus was still in danger should she be fully discovered. This ultimately led to Queen Chrysalis planning to use the first invasion of Canterlot to her advantage.
She knew from the beginning that the invasion would fail, and that her Changelings would be routed, but she used this as an opportuity for her and Pharynx to find any Proto-Queens and their Loyalists that were hiding and leaving them to their deaths at the hooves of the Royal Guard.
Then when Chrysalis had her Hive turned against her, when she dropped all pretense and swore for revenge against Thorax; she believed that since Thorax and Pharynx were brothers in the Infiltrator Caste, he might have been aware of the existence of Ocellus and had Chrysalis family killed in order to assume control of the Hive for another Proto-Queen (which we would know isn’t entirely true, Thorax may have been from the Infiltrator Caste, but his effectiveness as one wasn’t to the same insane degree as that of Pharynx who had a real reason to excell at what he did: to protect Ocellus from all dangerous elements). During the tumultous time of the Hive when Changelings were divided between those who accepted or rejected the change, Pharynx continued his work in securing the Hive for Ocellus along with trying to find out where his Chosen Beloved was at and why she ran away like she did.
During his searching, he found remnants of attempted colonies created by the other Proto-Queens who survived and Pharynx fulfilled the dirty requirements of his time as one of Proto-Queen Mirages’ Infiltrators: Divide and Annihilate. He wasn’t about to let these rogue Changelings try to paint the Changelings in a negative light for Equestria by allowing their continued existence, along with the possibility of them learning the existence of Ocellus. A fact that should be remembered about the Changelings, outside of Chrysalis and a few Minders, Pharynx was among the few Changelings that were considered old enough to have seen what the Hive was like before Chrysalis came to power, on top of him being the most active member of the Hive to have known details about almost every single individual (the current generation of Changelings had only ever known of Chrysalis as the Queen with the term “Proto-Queen” being a mythologized concept in their minds at this time. Even Thorax wasn’t exempt from this as he was only a recent transfer to the Breeding Caste and was isolated from most of the Hive at large as there were no other Proto-Queens who were available or wanting to seek out another Mate, to him he always associated the image of Proto-Queen Chrysalis with that of Proto-Queen Mirage due to how little he actually saw of the other Proto-Queens let alone the Queen), This left Pharynx in the enviable position for him to catalogue the Changelings history on his own. A selfish part of him wanted to tell the direct truth, tell the rest of the Changelings about how better life for them was underneath Chrysalis compared to how it was when Chrysalis was once just a Proto-Queen, trying to use this as a way for them to try and work together and find Chrysalis again and bring her back home, bring her back to him and their daughter so they could become a family at long last like they always wanted… But then Pharynx began to realize that doing something as nasty as this, to tell the unfiltered truth to the Changelings and their dark beginnings would demolish everything that the Changelings underneath the leadership of Thorax had just accomplished… And on top of this, he was aware of how Equestria had viewed Changelings before underneath Chrysalis; how even at Chrysalis’ Kindest the Ponies had still treated them like unfeeling monsters. And so, with a reluctant heart, Pharynx had crafted a narrative which painted his Chosen Beloved as a villain.
Time would pass still between events, at which point Pharynx had by himself all but wiped out the remainder of the other Proto-Queen Colonies that could pose a threat to the peace between Equestria and the Hive. And in all that time, Pharynx kept up his guard desperate to try and find out where Chrysalis was if she was still alive and voicing his opinions about the positives that there were to her rule (being extremely careful not to mention the other Proto-Queens who were worse than Chrysalis was, or give mention of Ocellus being his and Chrysalis’ daughter in-case there were still some rogue Changelings hiding), among the known population of the Hive, Pharynx was the last of the unchanged Changelings. And then he saw Trixie and Starlight Glimmer coming towards the Hive. A small part of him held a level of resentment for how they alongside Discord and his own brother had all but broke apart his family and sent his Chosen Beloved running away. That small part wanted to do nothing more than to have the two of them pay for what misery he suffered on his own, to have the two of them killed even for daring to show their faces again. But he remembered the wisdoms of kindness that Chrysalis had taught him, how to be better than the other Proto-Queens who always followed a philosophy of self-destruction. Pharynx in that moment relented in his anger and simply had the two of them bound and taken before the Hive as trespassers. During their stay he kept his distance aloof and indifferent, not wanting to share with them in any capacity that would reveal his connections and true feelings for Chrysalis that would put him in danger, Ocellus was still largely unaware of her own existence as a Proto-Queen, let alone that Pharynx was her real father. (He was rightfully paranoid that if it were found out that Ocellus was Chrysalis’ daughter, than it would paint a target on her back that the rest of Equestria might try to take advantage of if Chrysalis were to come back again, or that she would become ostracized by the rest of the Hive due to her legacy.) His attacks on the Maulwurf was his way of venting his overwhelming frustrations at his lot in life, how such an important decision as creating a Proto-Queen Egg with his Chosen Beloved had turned out so awful for everyling, and now that things for the Hive are better than ever for them now that Chrysalis is gone and the previous Queen and Proto-Queens are forgotten fills the Infiltrator with overwhelming sorrow and anger at everything around him, anger at his Hive, anger at Equestria, and most of all anger at himself…
After his inevitable transformation, Pharynx and his decision to stay opened an option for him that he had evaded considering for so long, and approached Ocellus for the first time in so many years. She had grown considerably in the few years that he spent away from the only Changeling that mattered to him more than his Chisen Beloved Chrysalis. Pharynx shared some details about his connection with Ocellus and why he was away for so long; sharing with her that he was her father, though in many ways it was stated that Changelings outside of Queens and Proto-Queens are not traditional families, yet the statement was profound for Ocellus to learn that this distant and willful Drone was her father was good enough for her…
compared to the series:
chrysalis is a tyrant who has taken power.
there have been sovereign precedents they have remained at peace.
Chrysalis led them to war to accumulate more power.
its presence in the nursery is only to reinforce its authority, manipulated the genesis and constrain the parents.
it remains the possibility that thorax and pharyns are descendants of the previous royal couple.
if we compare the changelings to an anthill: (there is no romance for this species)
There’s only one queen.
the others are his offspring and are all sterile prepubescent females with limited life span.
for trunks are male clones of the Queen’s even more limited life.
they only serve as a sperm bank to increase genetic diversity for future queen.
