Except she is not. I would strongly agree that she suffers from NPD but that’s as far as it goes. If she had ASPD that moment of doupt in frenemies wouldn’t even come as close as it got. (We never doubt our motives).

No it doesn’t make sense since there is no reason given kindness would piss her off. She thinks friendship a disease not a weakness (she almost admitted it in frenemies) but unfortunately, a Narcissists pride is a big pain in the ass she knows she is wrong but she wont admit it especially after that (“noooooo!”) rejection of hers. That was denial incarnate and fear. The feeling were there and unfortunately the pride too.(if she had ASPD the feeling wouldn’t be there) Its not her character either we lack proper background for that too.

I would like to point out that I do not excuse any of her actions for whatever motive or reason. I am merely trying to follow the good message upon this show “was” based on.  
Would also like to point out the false assumptions of ASPD (sociopathy/psychopathy) people have regarding those 3.

She does hold resentment she said her subject betrayed her in that s8 episode. And she does suffer from sociopathy and psychopath probably the most out of all the characters in fact. And she did receive forgiveness and kindness and she basically spat in starlight’s face. And that being the reason she would cry here makes a lot of sense, given kindness pisses her off because she sees it as others seeing her as weak, she rejects it more than anyone these are all true to the her character in the actual story. She is her own worst enemy she decides to mock and threaten others who just defeated her, even if someone feel like she didn’t deserve to be stoned by all these traits she did it to herself.

Hmm good explanation though lacking.  
She never held resentment to her subjects nor thorax after her downfall. In fact, i dont remember any revenge skims planned against her subjects after it. That wouldn’t be the reason she would cry here for the reason that she never considered her subject turning as a weakness but her reasoning of why they betrayed her (starlight glimmer being the center of her revenge) blaming it for losing or rather “stealing” her hive.
 
Never the less her views on friendship are obvious but it wouldnt have the impact here.  
A more logical and at same time “dark/sick” alternative like dissapointment of how her subjects ended up (with her own dark reasoning ofcourse). That i could buy. (keep in mind i drew this up for the reason she only went after starlight glimmer and blamed firendship for her subjects loss and not her subjects themselves).
 
But you never know, maybe receiving things like forgiveness and kindness from people you would expect least from could have an effect on you.  
Its not like she suffers from sociopathy/psychopathy and cant feel it.

A pitiful rage, one created when someone who sees kindness as a weakness is given it freely from someone who surpassed them. Thorax was key to her downfall, and took her place among her subjects. However, he is showing her mercy and forgiveness, which she’ll likely see as pity due to her refusing to understand kindness since she sees it as a weakness.

Feel more sorry for thorax in this case, knowing chrysalis the tear is from rage not from feeling she made bad choices or being genuinely touched. If all it took was flowers to warm her cold heart she wouldn’t be where she is eos. Sweet concept, get where the artist was trying to go, until I remembered it doesn’t work in character and this would be like diamond tiara giving her mom flowers.
