Sooooo this is related to DeviantArt’s latest site update and I couldn’t just pass on the opportunity to draw this horrifying abomination…I mean this beautiful, majestic creature in MLP style. It is truly a sight to behold, isn’t it? Oh, also he’s Saddle Arabian, how exotic!

While I can’t speak for the mods this is technically a lot closer to the show. It’s done in the show’s style, it’s based on the Saddle Arabian anatomy and the arms are based on EQG anatomy. I’m sure those play a factor in it more than just the origin of the character.
EDIT: Okay, I just looked it up and…it says “Not Pony Related/Obligatory Pony”. And the rules say it’s not MLP/FiM related just because it’s a pony. But how do they judge what pony OCs are and aren’t relevant? Why is it that the original art isn’t allowed, but fanart of that same character is? Why can Deviant Art’s own art not be uploaded here, but someone else’s drawing of the exact same character can, and why is that fanart now “related”?
