We don’t know what actually happened after she was stoned, since we didn’t see her statue in The Last Problem (only in flashbacks after she was defeated) she could have got redeemed but it was off-scene.

I’d like to hope that Cozy eventually does get reformed and Discord’s “Together forever” line was just him being an asshole and encasing her in stone was just a means to restrain her for a bit. Surely our heroes wouldnt see it fit to execute a powerless child while she’s weak and vulnerable. Would they?

We’re going to assume you didn’t read @GenericArchangel’s post and are going to give you one chance to walk away from this subject, not just on this image, but everywhere on the site where you have been debating this.

Howdy y’all! Didn’t know this was happening on more than one image… While y’all haven’t crossed the line yet, please allow me to kindly remind you of a few things.

Discord and Starlight were also smart enough to know not to use their magic for negatinve purposes but they still did it anyway. Starlight interacted with her villaigers and Discord probably saw many ponies suffering under his reign. If they couldn’t coudn’t be bothered to stop then it was on them, but thankfully others came and helped them bother to become better. Thats something Cozy never got.
 
Your arguments are excuses because you gloss over anything Discord and Starlight did while insisting that Cozy got the same leniency they got. I’m not saying that she wasn’t horrible and deserves to be let off the hook. I’m only saying that if the heroes managed to reform someone like Discord then they shouldn’t have given up on Cozy Glow like that.
 
You literally went to the deviantarts comment section and complained to others about it. I admit that I may be a bit guilty for that here myself and I do apologize for that if I annoyed anyone except for you, but I wasn’t nearly as bad as you.
 
You also keep whining to people who don’t agree with you on this matter constently. You were the first to respond to me and I simply answered in kind.
 
I’m now guessing that you’ll want to talk about how Cozy got her chances and deserved her fate and hoq Discord and Starlight tried to be better and how I should just get over it all of which have perfectly good counterarguments that you will simply not listen to. If you can’t bring anything new to the table then you’LL never change my mind on this.
 
Please don’t bother replying unless you do because I will simply ignore you like how you blocked those people you couldn’t beat in an argument on deviantart. I am simply too tired to argue with you on this.

Cozy glow with smart enough to know the basics and exploited for her own gain, case and point when she teamed up with a certain Centaur from the underworld. We see her interacting with the other students and is shown to be genuinely value today are to the point where she assists the principal directly, and yet she still couldn’t be bothered to at the very least try being a better individual. That’s on her.
 
Your arguments are excuses because all you do is try to absolve her of any guilt and pretended add most of her actions don’t want that kind of punishment, to the point where you even act like she didn’t willingly decide to stay evil.
 
I never once attacked the artist of the fix comic, I simply pointed out to those, demonic that those three got what they deserve and that’s why I didn’t really have anything to feel guilty about since they made their own bed and have to sleep in it.
 
You came in whining about people who don’t agree with me, and yet here you are hiding behind the BP icon just because I devalued your argument on another site.

The basics of the magic of friendship won’t teach a pony anything. I had to memorize poems back at school and despite getting good grades out of them I never actually understood or cared to understand what the poems meant. They were just a means to an end for me. Simply telling someone the basics wont help them become a better person. And we never saw her attend any extracurricular activites nor is there any proof that they were compulsory. And the fact that she got so close in Frenemies proves that theirs potential in her if she were to get the help she needs to bring it out, just like with Discord. Discord many years to think about his actions and yet, he only changed when he got help specifiacally to reform.
 
If my arguments are excuses then so are yours because as long as Discord’s example exists then it holds weight that Cozy never got the same chance he did. Why don’t you stop whining about people who don’t agree with you? You were the one who first answered my post, after all and you were the one who couldn’t handle the existence of the “fix” comic without complaining about it to the author and everyone there.

It also taught of the basics on the magic of friendship. She must have attend extracurricular activities considering the fact that she straight-up attempted to get in. Chrysalis snapping doesn’t automatically mean that it’s only on her. Cozy had her own chance to decide that she like being a better Pony more than she like to being evil. She was offered more than enough chances and squandered them both win many individuals tried to help her and when she was given a window of opportunity to realize what friendship really meant.
 
Your arguments aren’t counterpoints, they’re just excuses. The exact same crap repeated over and over because you can’t come up with anything else. Especially since all you’ve been doing is whining about how she didn’t get another chance when she went to a damn school for friendship, and yet all she did was use them and exploit them to get what she wanted.
 
She wasted her chance and got what she deserved, deal with it. if you don’t like it, then filter the comic. No one asked you to be here.

How is it a second chance? The school of friendship simply taught her stuff like history and whatever the main 6 wanted to teach while she didn’t attend any extracurricular activites and in Frenemies she was pulled back from it by Chrysalis’s panicked outburst. Every reformed villain needed help from the heroes who knew they were villains at the time to reform. Cozy Glow was never offered such a thing. If your going to complain about others disagreeing with you on this subject despite their perfect counter arguments, then don’T complain at all.

Nope, she didn’t get one. Discord got released specifically to be reformed and Twilight never tried to get through to Starlight. Cozy got no such thing.

And yes, she got her chance both when she was at the school and then she discovered that being a good pony filled nice, and both times she squandered the chance to become a better pony, get over it.

But the classes whithin the school did not teach friendship specifically. They mostly taught subjects such as history and animal care. Most of the friendship stuff happened in extracurricular activities which we barely saw Cozy take part in. Even in the very first episode it was said that friendship cannot be taught in schools.
 
Discord could have seen how the ponies were suffering under his rule yet he refused to change and when he supposidly reformed he chose to go back to being evil by siding with Tirek after being friends with Fluttershy only going back after he was betrayed. Starlight also had ponies looking up to her and she also spent plenty of time spying on Twilight and observing her interactions with her friends yet she still chose to take revenge. Tempest only betrayed Storm King after he betrayed her. Simply surrounding her in a friendship filled environment wouldn’t help her just like how it wouldn’t have helped the rest.
 
That moment if Frenemies wasn’t a chance as no one offered her a second chance or to help her change. It was marely a moment where she almost start changing only for Chrysalis to snap her out of it. The scene and the episode itself showed that she could potentially embrace friendship in a positive way (along with the other two) and could perhaps be helped with spme effort.
 
When Discord was released he flat out refused to change and was forced not to go into a chaotic rampage due to the elements being pointed at him yet Fluttershy did not give up on her and he was immedietly forgiven after all of the mistakes he made. Starlight pretty much did what Cozy tried to do after her first defeat and only changed due to Twilight’s persistence. Tempest ravaged many lands for Storm King and did not once betray him until he did so with her. Meanwhile, Cozy got no offer of a second chance after her defeat and no attempt was made to reform her unlike with the arguably more dangerous and powerfull reformed villains. She got even less then Chrysalis.
 
No, she does not need to be petrified. Remember Rusty Bucket and how she utterly failed to manipulate him resulting in a childish tantrum? I’m sure if someone like him resisted her so can a trained guard or psychologist. She’s just a smart, manipulative kid, not a mind control expert. By your logic Starlight should have been sent to Tartarus because she went to get revenge on Twilight.
 
All in all, she never recieved the same kind of effort that went into reforming Discord and Starlight even though she (and Tirek and Chrysalis) deserved it just as much as they did. I believe that based on what we have seen in Frenemies and examples from others she could potentially change. It would take a lot of help and effort, but if the lord of chaos could get it then so can she.

Here’s the thing. It was Friendship that changed them. Or rather seeing what true friendship is about that changed them. Cozy was literally taught that in the school. And since she was evil the whole time one would think she would change her mind and reform that way. But no, she actively went against everything that she was taught, fully knew the effect her actions had on others and took joy in all of it. Hell, she flat out said she’d do it again. So that kind of was her chance and Twilight and them did make an effort to get her to embrace the thing that helped so many others (which is why she created the school in the first place) They just didn’t know it.
 
And need I mention she had another chance to change her ways in Frienemies? Where she actually knew how good it felt to actually be selfless and whatnot, the other two villains felt it too. But once again, they all willfully perished the thought because they view friendship as a “disease” despite knowing first hand how it really is.
 
So really what else is there to do? If the School of Friendship wouldn’t get to her, what will? It’s not that she didn’t understand or was an innocent, she just didn’t care. And no I don’t think Tartarus or even stoning was too harsh. Because if she were in any other solitary confinement, she would’ve easily manipulated others to let her out because that’s how she works
 
Bottom line, she technically did a second chance but she actively disregarded them because she’d rather have power and destroy things and people. And trying to get through to her again would be stupid because that’s basically doing the same crap and expecting different results

Its a shame that Cozy Glow never got the same second chance Starlight and Tempest got.
