Hey hey
I remember seeing a review for Maximum Overdrive years ago.
I feel it is, it’s got a bit of gore and some cool actors and when you see the ending you will face palm pretty hard.
@Background Pony #93C2
I love that movie!
No.
… you are they?
And aren’t Jagon and TJ the same?
Jargon Scott was more the mastermind behind Twiggie.
@Cyborg_pony
And Twiggies.
You’re talking about the guy that made “Sparkles! the wonder horse”
I can imagine it, but it doesn’t really work the same. The whole reason why Duel works the way it does, is because you have no idea who the trucker is or what he looks like; your imagination is running on fear is often (if not always) scarier than reality (just like with this Corona outbreak; people are freaking out over what’s really not as big of a deal as it may seem.*) If you know what the serial killer looks like, you won’t be thinking in the same realm.
*Not to say “don’t take precautions,” but at the same time, don’t give in to baseless fear thoughts that only destroy.
Depends on how you feel about 1980s Stephen King films. If you like them, it’s hilarously bad, so bad it’s good. If not, it’s pretty meh bordering on uncomfortable viewing.
The version of the truck with the Twiggie face does that one.
