Even if you give your OC faults, people are just going to claim they are all “superficial”. Also the fact it is a male Alicorn will get much more hate then if it was a female Alicorn.

Son to the founders of Canterlot. Alicorn of a different breed that eventualyl unlocks his full alicorn magic (similar to Twilight). Yet can at many times fail with magic. Is hot headed and may rush ahead with things rather than thinking thru first.
that’s a short summery and yet not the full story of this character.
Because fans have dumb “rules” about OC characters. Like a red & black OC is always hated for example.
