Ross: “Just kidding, Little Caesar’s tastes fucking horrible and only a step up from Chuck E. Cheese’s.”
LC’s pizza is still “ehh”, mind you, but they’re not bad at making commercials.
She’s the best.
Also, Little Caeser’s pizza has an additional advantage that’s easily overlooked -
it stays good in the refrigerator for much longer than many other pizzas. I think the dense crust preserves texture consistency when microwaving.
It’s one of the best aspects in my mind.
Son I will buy you a plane ticket, because you’ve clearly been raised wrong.
“Good” will always be subjective. I’ve tried so called “good” pizzas you described and they taste like cardboard shit to me.
Well that seems to be the exception and not the rule.
Then you have no idea how wrong you are to think all chain pizza places are like that, it’s mostly in the south US but it’s crust are chewy with crisp underside, it’s a chin but not like others.
I can’t say that I have.
Just wondering, have you had pizza from Johnny’s Pizza House?
But it’s like having a steakhouse burger and then going to McDonalds. Sure it’s good, but it’s nowhere near as good as a restaurant. We have maybe four or five privately own pizzerias around me and they make a proper pizza. less bread, more sauce and cheese.
Chain pizzas always have that whole half an inch to an inch thick bread all throughout it and it makes it taste doughy and cheap. Good pizza should have a crisp underside and chewy crust.
The ony problem with that for me is the closest like that for me is the other side of town and I don’t have he time to go over there if I’m not out doing a lot of shopping on that side of town on a weekend.
Pizza Hut is better but overpriced.
Papa Johns has that amazing pepper stuff I could eat with a spoon and good, thick cheese.
Being in northwest Indiana, Gelsosomos is the next best thing to my absolute favorite, a small 7 or 8 location chain that goes the authentic italian route of thin crust with awesome seasoning.
Originally being from west Michigan though, my all time nostalgic favorite is Fricanos, an even smaller 5 store chain. All they make is pizza. Only one size, pan-cooked, thin crust with virtually no crust edging, amazing sauce and cheese, seasoned in a way that makes my mouth water just thinking about it. It looks kind of homely, but it tastes SO FUCKING GOOD AAAUGH I WANT IT NAO.
I have to disagree with that, even then any pizza that doesn’t make you sick can be good in some way.
Not if you grew up around good pizza. Chain pizza makes me sad.
That’s a good question. The way i see it all the big pizza chains are bad.
I would rather buy it from a local, more “homemade” style place.
It’s more “what price is do you expect for a pizza that is really good” and “what kind of pizza do you expect for a “good” price”.
