I do expect she will have to take some lessons from RD to achieve reliable flight. Alicorn or not, she is not of the athletic type.

I mean, did anyone else find that odd? That Rarity did decently in the Best Young Flyers competition despite only having those Icarus flaps for less then a day, while natural Pegasi have to be taught from childhood to fly?

I am hoping we get at least one joke of Twilight hilariously failing to fly, unlike when Rarity got instant perfect flight skills as part of her wings package.
