midnight snack, or ‘middy’ and ‘snack’ to her moms, takes after twilight in pretty much every respect. a studious mare, she’s very quick to take things literally and often comes across as stoic and unfriendly. despite this, she’s pleasantly mannered and is quick to help anyone who enters the library where she works.
 
gala dress rarity + applejack | female | young adult | unicorn  
a seamstress in her mother’s image, gala dress is very fashion oriented, though she works mainly on the drag scene in equestria. need adjustments to fit your ‘hog-body’? she’s got you covered! gala is a very sweet, though perhaps superficially so, mare who isn’t afraid to speak her mind. she’s easy to love, and equally as easy to hate.
 
apple tango applejack + soarin’ | female | young adult | pegasus  
apple tango, born in applejack’s pre-lesbian-realisation marriage to wonderbolt soarin’ is a quick worker around the farm. while a little resentful that her parents didn’t stay together, she’s got an understanding of why and holds no resentment towards her stepmother or half sister. she aspires to follow in her father’s hoofsteps and become a wonderbolt someday, and trains often with him when she’s visiting cloudsdale. she has a good relationship with most everyone given her easygoing nature.
 
sweet berry rainbow dash + fluttershy | female (transgender) | young adult | pegasus  
the only amab member of the group, sweet berry is a gentle giant. she’s a specialist in alternative medicine and has a very airy personality. it’s hard to tell if she’s high or if she’s just like that. much like fluttershy, she’s not a frequent flier, preferring to stay on the ground, but this shouldn’t be confused for lack of ability.
 
frosty beats octavia + vinyl scratch | female | young adult | earth pony  
a musical prodigy with an unfortunate name. octavia carried her and, as a compromise, vinyl was allowed to name her. frosty is a talented classical musician and performs in canterlot very frequently, but also likes to unwind with a rockin’ dj set or two. she’s a very enthusiastic and excitable pony, with many friends in both of the circles she regularly hangs in. it’s debatable if she ever sleeps.
 
spark burst trixie + sunset shimmer | female | young adult | earth pony  
the centre of this au. spark is a clumsy, awkward mare with only five friends to her name. she’s dedicated to her parents, both of whom are skilled magic users, and dreams of being like them someday. she’s crafted a cape to match trixie’s and she always has illusions and sleight of hand tricks hidden away under it. she’s not deterred by her lack of natural magic at all!
