It’d be rather funny that the reason why he treated Rarity the way he did was because all he saw was another gold digger or princess wannabe.

Blueblood gets a lot of flak for someone whose only cardinal sin was trolling Rarity.

While I can see truth in some your points, it should be noted that Big MacIntosh gets paired up with any of Twilight’s circle, up to and including his own sister. I wager a majority of bronies would welcome him hooking up with Fluttershy.

Why IS that dead, anyway? It’s equally valid as Bab’s having been bullied, and way easier to swallow than Discord’s one-eighty.

I’d like to see Blueblood try to redeem himself. Either that, or Discord punishes him by covering him in cake, just like Rarity did.

I do like the older but for some reason dead headcannon that, him being rich, famous and sheltered and all, was often taken advantage off by fake “friends” and grew jaded by it. Hell you could have a lesson from that

Yeah him being a male doesnt help his fanbase. But he doesnt seem to be intrested in seriouse relation ships. The only mane Sixs I could see him with are twilight and fluttershy.  
But they could make him a jerk to the point you just gotta like him like alot of characters from other shows.

Blueblood is guilty of the unforgivable crime of being male and an inherent ship sinker. The funny thing is, he’d probably have been more hated if he had charmed Rarity instead of pissing her off. Do you honestly expect bronies to accept any character that could potentially be a partner to the mane six, all of whom are part of their lesbian fantasies? Plus he’s rich and he’s a jerk - in the eyes of many Bronies, this really is worse than being a genocidal shapeshifting parasite. Perhaps because it hits too close to home.
 
Those MLP cards don’t even rank him among the villains (Diamond Tiara has a higher ‘meanness’ rating) but that’s what he would probably have to be if he appeared.

Since Hasbro won’t let that happen, I see no reason to give him any more airtime than he’s already wasted.

I always imagined that when no one is around, Blueblood locks himself into his room, cakes his face with make up, tapes crude cardboard wings to his back and screams at mannequins to call him a pretty pretty princess.

I’m fond of the idea that Blueblood is actually a psychological wreck, torn apart by a combination of loathing and envy that all his female relatives are Alicorns while he is a mere unicorn. Make him into a kind of Lemongrab kind of villain.

He should totally return, he got a lot of potencial, as character or plot-angle.
