The name they agreed on, I suppose. Easier to say and remember than Pinkamena Diane, and it’s their color.
Oh… But why Pinkie pie is name like that instead of naming her Pinkemena?
I like to think that Pinkie is the combination of two ponies, Pinkamena and Diane, conjoined so completely that they’re basically two ponies in one body. I like to think that Pinkamena is the one with the curly hair, and Diane is the one with the straight hair.
