We really don’t know WHO he’s talking to.

Here’s the actual tweet. And here’s the profile picture. When the tweet came up on my timeline the profile picture was the one he has now, but profile picture changes don’t always display immediately on my Twitter, so he might have had it for at least some time and then changed back to the current one. Either way, the tweet itself exists, and it wouldn’t make sense if it were referring to the current profile picture, so it’s not fake.

I went to his big list of tweets, which I normally never do, and checked. It’s in there, complete with a conversation about paint drying. Seems like the avatar got changed again in the meanwhile.
