Well, I guess this would also explain about Twilight being transformed by magical energy when she was a unicorn instead of an alicorn meaning that production of the film began before season three ended.

I do see the Storm King, Tempest in a cloak, four standard Storm Creatures, two Storm Creature Tanks and four Storm Creatures with the Storm King’s insignia on their cuffs, visible ears on their white fur, twin horns on their faces and one horn on their nose, and walking like a primate because I can see them banging on the floor with their hands. I don’t know what these Storm Creatures are called.

Well, dialogue from the movie suggests that the Storm King’s staff was given to him by Tempest herself, which “The Great Princess Caper” supports by showing Tempest in the middle of delivering it to him before they invade Equestria. Int “The Stormy Road to Canterlot”, however, the Storm King already has the staff when he and Tempest first meet in the Forgotten Hills while the Storm King first meet before he has the staff in Issue 4 of the movie prequel comics. This would explain about the Storm King’s quote, “You promised me magic that could control the elements, and right now, I’m holding a what? A branch. A twig. Blehhh!”

Yeah. That’s because there’s no seventh Elements. And there were only just six. And I think there’s a debate or misconception on Sunset Shimmer is the seventh Elements and say what Elements Sunset represents. Speaking of Elements, I don’t know why the movie didn’t let the Mane Six use the Elements of Harmony to defeat the Storm King and his minions.

Well, since the Staff of Sacanas’ origins are unknown and Scorpan is not the true bearer of the staff, is Scorpan dead or alive?

I hate ececutive and market meddling getting in the way of us enjoying the things we love. This is the reason why we never got the chance to see Luna throughout Season One (Hasbro thought that she was still a villain), or why Spike has been treated as an accessory for Twilight at best and a slapstick butt-monkey at worst (this is despite the fact that most of us latch onto Spike as a main character and often tries to see Spike as essentially being either a Seventh Element of Harmony or even Twilights’ Son)

This movie was put into development right after Season 3 so you are not far off.

If this was the movie we got instead of the first Equestria Girls, than I believe that Alicorn Twilight Sparkle would have been better recieved following Magical Mystery Cure, seriously, watch the Season 3 finale and then switch over to this movie; you can immediately tell that THIS would have been the perfect movie thematically to showcase Twilights struggles with Alicornhood and the faults that are still apparent in her character that would help the audience.

What did the comics go with regarding how the Storm King got the Staff of Sacanas again? Because the idea of learning that Scorpan is still alive sounds cool.

That would’ve been pretty cool to see.
