More concept art my dudes

Haven’t drawn any of these for ages, eventhough I have tons of concepts for the comic that I want to draw. But the mood for detailed pics like these have reignited again now that I made this one, so I think there’s gonna be alot more of these in the near future. :>

For context behind it I can’t give you much, since it’s pretty spoiler-y. But it is something that’s going to happen in the future in the comic itself.
I tried alot of new ways to colour in this, I worked alot with multiple layers and also without lineart for the background. The blend of lineart with the characters and no lineart in the background is a really nice blend, and reminds me of old 2D-animated movies like Disney movies, who had painted backgrounds behind the characters themselves. I really like it, and I think I’ll continue using it for future pictures like these!
