But the pattern can be drawn larger and simplified, so it’s not too detailed.
If I had used a different shading technique, it would’ve been more obvious. Actually, I have some pictures that do just that.

Unfortunately, this form of cel shading doesn’t lend itself to this kind of thing.
That sounds interesting.
Perhaps it instead should be a black pattern (like flowers on fishnet) to make that aspect more clear?

Not really. I do planning on finishing up to original comic, but this was more because I wanted to do more with the original pic.
