Don’t care about hijabs. But brown just clashes with the bright colors.

Well the Indian bindi was once a purely religious symbol, today it’s also a fashion choice.

The thing that bugs me about it is that wearing hijab is about modesty, but then Fluttershy shows a lot of leg and shy Meadows has a shirt skirt that shows part of her thigh skin.
 
I don’t mind hijabs in art, it’s just irksome when it’s not applied consistently over the character ? Makes it look more like a “progressive” fashion choice then a respectful depiction of a hijabi.
