Oh for sure, not protesting that at all, just using the opportunity to make memes.

To be fair to Hasbro, people started harassing the voice actors over the things they said so Hasbro probably felt like they had to at least look like they were doing something about it even if it’s completely ineffective. That and it’s a known fact that Hasbro’s legal department acts completely separately from the rest of the company and frequently does things the company would prefer they didn’t.

I shouldn’t worry too much about the VPN problem earnestly. The only red flags that would be raised is just the fact that you are downloading a huge load of data through the internet and that’s it. All that matters is that people get the entire cache of data right now just to hold onto it for distribution later. What makes this important is if Hasbro gets to the source torrent they could do what other major companies (Mostly program and sometimes movie companies) do by tracking or bugging their torrent and seeing who downloads their torrent.
 
As of now things are pretty alright, Hasbro is still scrambling around trying to contain the YouTube leaks and trying to figure out what website has the torrents currently. That’s what I have seen so far at least. But as mentioned what matters so far is just getting the files downloaded in the first place.

Give it time. I haven’t looked, but I’m willing to bet there are about a dozen versions of the same audio file(s) out there right now. Eventually they’ll be consolidated.
 
There are still plenty of YouTube videos of it too, though you might want to download as many as you can, since takedowns are inevitable, and quality varies. Also, MANY torrenters are scrambling to find new VPN providers, since NordVPN has recently been revealed to be not so great – whether a VPN provider should be considered “trustworthy,” after concealing a security breach for 19 months from users, and only brought to light by legal maneuvers, I’ll leave to the reader to decide.

But some people clearly have and they are working their way through it. That bloopers compilation is definitely from that leak. And I suspect that all resent show animations with transparent backgrounds also came from it.
