There are several reasons why soldiers don’t wear EOD armor to battle, and none of them are because it doesn’t stop bullets. That’d be ridiculous. Guns are powered by explosions, so EOD armor would be at least as effective against them as any other bomb.
 
That said, they have all of the disadvantages of full plate armor and a few more advantages, and that’s why you see so little of them.
 
Celestia’s armor would only be effective if the enemy were not pragmatic, prudish, and/or misogynist.

well both got a strongth and weakness,
 
Celestia got more movement and can easy look on her back and can see someone aim her with a rocket laucher and easy run for it! this her strong one but she got low defence!
 
Luna got a better defence but she can’t see in her back , and this type of armor are slow, but be stuff but one or two rocket and is game over!
 
both as a team, luna shot those are teast for her sister and Celestia take down all are teast for luna, in other words a good team, Tia is speed and Luna is defence!

Full face Helmet, no fanservice, overconfidence on her armour… she’s a goner.  
If things are more realistic, she has a shotgun for a weapon, so she has to come closer to the enemies. With an EOD suit designed to protect from the blast of BOMBS, not bullet impact. There’s a reason soldiers don’t wear those to battle usually.

I’ve played plenty, even going as far as getting the stupid secret ending after completing the Keetaru hidden messages. Not sure how not one shotting the dozers equates to I never played?

Clearly, you did not Play the game when you could onehitkill even the Highest Level Dozzers with a Kunai.

It all depends on Context of Course. What kind of Battle your going to fight. As even the best types of Body armor can only take a few assault rifle rounds,in some cases it may be more effective to be wearing light armor where you can be more mobile allowing you to move faster and positioning yourself better. In fire fights its actually quite rare to see your Opponents and it about a balance of Suppressing fire,Positioning and fire support. In close Quarters Combat Luna body armor could be useful and shrug off Low caliber rounds and flak. But you would also want more mobile infantry flanking and positioning themselves appropriately …or something…I have no idea how modern combat works beyond the Pop culture concept like Siege.
 
Still Celestia dress I think is no less Capable then Luna in the right Circumstance and both styles have their pros and cons.

Celestia is dressed like she’s in a chinese F2P game, Luna is dressed like she’s in a AAA game that somehow has F2P level monetization despite having a paid base game.

Oh believe me, Bulldozers feed their LMGs with plenty o bullets. Deathsentence difficulty is a god damn nightmare with these guys.

Long ago, when I still read comics, I saw a character holding a belt-fed GPMG that had a goofy face drawn on top of the feed tray, complete with a crooked-toothed smile right at the edge, and a word balloon saying “FEED ME” just above it.

Look, she’s the heavy. She moves slow, has a ridiculous amount of hp, hits like a truck, and draws all of the fire. Be glad she’s here.
