Wait are you MrPoniator? I can see why these animations did take a long time to make. I even still recite them for fun and I was hoping I could do that for the rest of the seasons, but I understand why you stopped at Season 5.  
DWK and Round Trip are great successors but they have their own brand of humor and I liked being able to quickly summarize each episode from your animations.

That sucks to hear.

There were plans for making one of those animations for season 6, but due to various circumstances it didn’t get very far into production. Each of the previous entries took a solid month or two of work, all the while juggling other responsibilities that left me very stressed at the end of each day, and barely with any sleep. Doing that all over again, let alone for all the seasons I missed, is such big commitment I do not have the time for these days.
 
Then again, in my eyes folk like DWK and Round Trip took up the mantle after I stopped. Me and Gypsy (the guy who wrote the jokes for the ‘WILT’ animations) even joked that it’d be hard to top DWK when we were discussing season 6.

MrPoniator just came back for this last bit since he updated his summery:

This little animation is so simple, yet beautiful. Watching Twilight grow, the hearing laughter of her and her friends along with that music along with it. It chokes me up every time. It’s a very nice tribute, and I hope even if he doesn’t see this that I hope he finds good health does great work even if it’s not pony related.

I don’t think he will. His Channel has been dead for years now. He actually made his channel icon have X’s for eyes to show this. That’s what it was such a surprise to see he’d come back to make this small vid and the message.
