Honestly, I’m not a huge fan of flash-forward episodes, (alot of other shows have done it, and sometimes they feel fanfic-like) but regardless, I actually loved “The Last Problem.” Seeing tall/ellegant/wavey hair Princess Twilight, grown-up Spike, and such was actually nice to see, and a li’l heart-rending.
I’m glad we got to see at least a small look of Twilight being the ruler and her Kingdom. one of the things that worried me about the final season is that it would end with Twilight being crowned and we wouldn’t actually see it. that almost happened with season 3
At least, every character got a pretty happy ending. (Except the badniks, of course, but at least they’ll make a good collectable on ENeigh. Nyuk! Nyuk!
Nope, it was really tugging at the heartstrings. It’s such a bittersweet ending. It’s sad there will never be another Friendship is Magic, but that’s what makes it special.
