Yeah, the only thing he kinda had a point on was our discussion is a li’l off-topic for such a silly picture, but I was just discussing how “midget” used to not even be considered offensive. Not even by little people. (I’m quite short myself IRL.)  
I wasn’t trying to create a huge “political” debate, or anything.

Some shows do edit out the term, and such. But yeah, I remember many kid friendly shows including the “Super Mario Super Show” say “midget” before.
 
Indeed, in a few more decades, we probably can’t even call each other “people” anymore as that might offend somebody.

So do a bunch of old family friendly shows now have a bunch of beeps in them in reruns like if the characters are calling each other obscene things? I think Full House used the term before, so I’m just imagining what those scenes would sound like…
 
But yeah, PC is just somethings that gets worse and worse as time goes by.

Y’know, I still find it odd TV now bleeps “midget” out like it’s a racial slur nowadays…  
I understand it’s a li’l offensive, and outdated, as it refers to old timey circus sideshows, and such, but it feels like nowadays people are making words more offensive/worse then they actually are, when frankly whether you’re a “little person,” or not, (I’m short myself) you shouldn’t let certain words upset you so much, or let the media, or others not in said group dictate what’s offensive, or not…
