“So, uh… Hi, Granny. Sorry, I… I guess I did some bad stuff again. What a suprise, yeah? Hah, hah …hah…”
When Maria Ann Smith or Cameo Cultivar misbehaved, they were grounded and/or sent to the corner of the living room for a timeout. In the corner, on top of the dresser, was a picture of the original Maria Ann Smith, who later in life became known as Granny Smith.
Granny, Mari’s been told, was extremely kind and patient. She was warm and gentle, but she also was mischevious, funny, and had a spine of steel. She held her head high through anything -even when she lost her own son and daughter in law, she stepped up and took care of her grandkids without even the slightest hesitation. She founded ponyville, she faced the everfree all by herself, and she discovered the magical zap apples. She received awards for her baking, won rodeo ribbons, and she’s created at least three new cultivars of apples that has since became staple apples of any self-respecting household.
She didn’t make fun of people or call them names, or get so.. so.. angry at their stupid faces when they bragged about their new, expensive, dresses. She probably also didn’t hurt her brother by calling his bees gross and stupid. She definitely didn’t steal her cousin’s prosthetic leg again and accidentally break it so it had to be away for repairs for two weeks. She didn’t bite, or kick, or…
Mari didn’t like being in timeout.
So… it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything, hasn’t it? Sorry, my life has just been very, very tiring lately -not that anything bad is happening per se, just everything in it is changing, very much, very fast. Nothing stops you from drawing as much as literally not having any time for it. I’ve just been collapsing in bed as soon as I get home for the night.
I’ve also noticed I’ve passed the 900 watchers benchmark. Yay! Wohooooooo… I’m gonna do another raffle for it, I just need to sleep for a few days first, so I dunno when it’s gonna be
So, goodnight!
